White Mountain Village is a neighborhood shopping center located in the Town of Pinetop-Lakeside in northern Arizona. Originally opening in 1982, the center featured several anchor tenants including a 28,500 square foot Safeway store, a 19,500 square foot Thrifty Drug Store, a 17,500 square foot Sprouse Reitz and a 10,000 SF Yellow Front. Safeway later expanded to 40,100 square feet in 1997.
The Pederson Group is planning a large remodel of this well-known center that will transform the plaza into a high-end shopping destination that will serve residents throughout the community of Pinetop-Lakeside and beyond. The total remodel cost is expected to exceed $4,000,000 and construction will commence in late 2018.
