Originally built in 1987, Fountain Hills Plaza is perfectly positioned in the heart of Fountain Hills approximately one mile from the "World's Tallest Fountain". A new, state-of-the-art Bashas' Supermarket re-opened in 2009, along with an expanded 22,800 square-foot Ace Hardware and retail shops and restaurants. The residents of Fountain Hills are upper income and highly educated, and spend over $440 million outside of Fountain Hills annually. 2,370 public school students attend the Fountain Hills School District.
